Looking Forward to
the Season of Lent

Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, February 17th. We will gather for a simple soup and salad supper at 6:15 p.m., followed by worship at 7:30 p.m. Worship will include communion and the imposition of ashes. Lent is a time for turning back to God and the theme of turning in
our lives will be our Lenten Theme.

Lenten Study:
Watching the Disciples

Thursdays at 10:30 a.m.
beginning February 18th

The disciples were very human followers of Jesus, just as we are. They were learning “on the job” as it were about the life of faith to which Jesus was calling them. During the weeks of Lent we will look at times when the disciples erred and what we can learn from their mistakes and make some turns in our own lives back toward faithfulness.
