Mission

Change to Make a Change

Every month, we collect spare change for a good cause. Past recipients include Habitat for Humanity, Pilot Dogs, Heart to Heart, and the Alzheimer's Walk.

Manna Food Pantry

Each month, we challenge ourselves to provide enough of a named food item to feed 100 families served by this local mission. Visit the Manna Food Pantry web site to learn more and to donate online.

Washington UCC and Kids Cafe

Washington United Church of Christ is a mission church that serves the people of Camp Washington. Our congregation partners with them for a number of projects including tutoring, mission work, and fundraising. Currently, our Youth Connection provides volunteers for Washington UCC's Children's Church two Sunday's a month.

The Kids Cafe at Camp Washington serves nutritious meals to neighborhood children and their families. We have several volunteers from our church that assist with meal preparation once a month. We also collect empty containers, such as whipped topping and cottage cheese containers, to be used for the children to take home leftovers in. For more information about the Kids Cafe program, visit the Freestore/Foodbank Kids Cafe web site.

Our Daily Bread

Several members of our congregation work at this local downtown soup kitchen the third Friday of every month. For more information about this Over-the-Rhine ministry, visit the Our Daily Bread website.

Special Collections and Projects

There are many other mission projects we support at various times throughout the year, including Disaster Relief, Operation Christmas Child, Heart to Heart, Thanksgiving Food Baskets, and various denominational missions such as One Great Hour of Sharing. Check out weekly bulletin for information on current mission projects.
